A Walk Down Memory Lane...

Having been a member of WASSA for the past 30 years, Marilyn thought it would be nice to take a little walk down memory lane and feature some of the early shelties that got her started in the breed so many years ago.

Dyniques Shelties originated in 1974 with the purchase of a little sable sheltie named "JINGLES". A few months later, a blue merle bitch, Gaelyn's Soliquoy, "SOLO" was also  purchased.  Solo went on to become a champion and both Jingles and Solo obtained their C.D.'s with Solo achieving a High in Trial. A few years later, Folkstone First Edition (a tri POW son) was purchased from Harbor Light Kennels in Washingon and went on to become a champion and also earned his companion dog obedience title.

Marilyn's first show and breeding prospect puppy was purchased in 1978 from June Trefry of Tremur Kennels.  Ch. Tremur's Autumn Glory, C.D., ROMC (CYNDEE) became the foundation bitch of Dyniques Kennels and was one of the earliest top producing bitches in Manitoba, with 5 champion offspring.
